Based in the Greater Boston area, VINTAGE STRING is a live music performance group co-founded by Vanessa Buttolph and Diane Hastings. Passionate performers and classically trained musicians, Diane and Vanessa have active freelance careers ranging from local pubs and symphony halls to the national touring stage. The VINTAGE STRING team includes a close network of outstanding and highly trained musicians who are passionate about making unforgettable musical moments in every performance.

For weddings and special events, we strive to ensure that every event is customized perfectly for each client and their unique vision. We work with each client to help curate a perfect setlist. Our REPERTOIRE LIST (www.vintagestringmusic.com/repertoire) ranges across 5 centuries and is extensive.

We are also able to offer custom arrangements. VINTAGE STRING celebrates genres that aren't typically associated with strings through original arrangements and medleys of iconic songs by artists like Beyoncé, TLC, and Outkast.

Our dynamic, upbeat original medleys are perfect for cocktail hours, wedding dinners, and engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners.
